That means flavor, by the way. Our exotic and delicious varieties appeal to people of all ages, incomes and cultures. We match the highest quality certified organic ingredients with our careful, obsessive production process to produce the one and only Popghum. Don’t be fooled by cheap imitations!
First – Freshness is Guaranteed
We make Popghum to order. That’s right, we don’t stock it for more than a week or two. We also keep our shelf life down to 4 months. Retailers like to have longer shelf lives, and some manufactures give in to that, but not Popghum. I mean really, do you want to eat something that was made a year ago?
Flagship Varieties: True Popghum Originals
We take our organic popped sorghum, add a tiny bit of sunflower oil, and then toss it with Grey Sea Salt from the Brittany Coast of France. We use the same top quality brands you’d get for yourself. No bulk foodservice junk for us. Taste and quality always trump profit margins.
The result is a buttery, nutty, crunchy snack without the butter or nuts. Yay!
Southwestern Chili & Cheddar
Remember those late night munchies after the bar? (um, the bar exam of course) Well, for those of us who don’t eat meat, or just don’t want to toss down a chili-cheese dog anymore, you can experience that indulgent flavor with our Southwestern Chili and Cheddar Popghum. It’s cheesy and has just the right amount of spice. Try not to eat an entire bag all at once. Take a breather. Good luck!
Future Flavors
We have many new flavors coming VERY soon that will appeal to both adults and children. Sweet and savory varieties like:
- Caribbean Adobo – garlic, tomato, cilantro… Si, por favor.
- White Cheddar – the kids asked us to drop the chili for this one. It’s like organic mac & cheese. Wow.
- Chocolate Covered – well, all I can say is, eat it in private. People might hear your reaction and get the wrong idea.
